Recipe “Breakfast Biscuit”:

Grind flour and cold butter into crumbs. Add salt. Pour in ice water (4-5 tablespoons of l.) And quickly load the dough into a ball. Refrigerate for 20-30 minutes.

You can safely leave for the night! For filling:

Peel the onion (one large or two medium) and cut into half rings, wash the straws with bacon and mushrooms and cut into small slices.

First, fry the onions, literally add a pinch or two sugars – for caramelization. Then add the bacon – lightly fry and mushrooms! Let it brew for 5-7 minutes.

At the end, add cream, mix well, salt, pepper and remove from heat. Let the filling cool a little.

Divide the dough into 3 equal parts. Roll each piece of dough in a 0.5 cm thick layer onto a floured work surface and carefully place it on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.

Put the filling with bacon and mushrooms in the middle of each cookie. Form a biscuit and grease the edges of the dough with egg yolk. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 ° C for 10 minutes.

Then remove the cookies from the oven, break one egg at a time, add salt and pepper to taste. And put it back in the oven for 12-15 minutes!

Serve the finished cookies immediately with a cup of coffee or tea!

  • Butter – 75 g
  • Wheat flour / flour – 175 g
  • Water (ice) – 4 tbsp. L. l.

  • Mushrooms – 250 g
  • Bacon (boiled-smoked) – 75 g
  • Onion – 1 pc.
  • Cream (10-20%) – 50 ml
  • Chicken Egg – 3 pieces
  • Salt to taste
  • Spices to taste
